What are Stunning Straps?


They are decorative bra straps that can be attached to multi-way bras and bras with detachable straps. They add finesse to any outfit and designs range from subtle straps that can be worn with casual outfits to the more bling designs for nights out.

Stunning Straps make it possible to wear a bra with outfits that reveal bare shoulders and allow those with larger cup sizes to wear outfits that they never imagined possible to wear.


Which kind of Bra is suitable for wearing a pair of stunning straps with?


We suggest that you only wear a bra that is designed to give support even when worn strapless since although the straps will give some support they are not designed purely to be supportive and will not be as supportive as a normal material bra strap. With this thought in mind we would NOT suggest converting a normal bra into a strapless bra with loops and then attaching stunning straps since this may make them more prone to being damaged.


Can the straps break?


Unfortunately in some cases yes but this is very rare. If you are careful with them and wear them with either a multi-way bra or a bra with detachable straps then you shouldn't have any problems. Since the straps are similar to jewellery, even the most durable jewellery has some chance of breaking. Rest assured they are made with good quality components to make sure the chances of breakages are very minimal.


What outfits can I wear the straps with?


The list is endless but some suggestions are:
1) Off the shoulder tops
2) Strapless tops
3) Halter neck tops
4) Strappy tops
5) Strappy dresses
6) Formal dresses
7) Bikinis / Swimming costumes.

We do not advise wearing the straps in water since water would damage your stunning straps.

How do I wear my Stunning Straps?


Take your multi-way/detachable strap bra and remove the straps
Take your Stunning straps and attach them to the bra using the fastening loops (where the original straps were previously attached).
Wear the bra as you would normally and be prepared to be complimented.

Please note some of the straps can also be worn crossing over at the back, i.e. one strap would join the right hand side back loop to the left hand side front loop and vice versa.


How do I know which size to select?


At present there are two types of stunning straps,
1) Hand beaded straps, which are elasticated and come in two different lengths.
2) Diamanté straps which have an adjustable chain and one size fits all.

The hand beaded elasticated straps come in two different sizes, 36cm plus hooks and 41cm plus hooks.
The size you need will depend on the bra you are going to wear them with and your own dimensions.
The easiest and most accurate way to determine your size is to put the bra you are planning to wear with your stunning straps on, with the original removable straps still in place.
Adjust the length until you are comfortable with the fit, not too tight and not too loose.
Remove the Straps.
Measure the straps NOT including the hooks in the measurement i.e. measure the fabric length only.
Subtract 1cm from this measurement and this will give you the length of strap you need.

For 39cm and below, select the 36cm length.
For 41cm and above, select the 41cm length.

For between 39cm and 41cm it depends on how you like your straps to fit, if you want a tight snug fit go for the 36cm length and if you like your bra straps to be on the loose side go for the 41cm length. If in doubt adjust your own detachable straps to both lengths, 36cm and 41 cm, and see which is most comfortable before making your decision.


How do I clean my Stunning straps?


This depends on the type of strap but most straps are easily cleaned with a damp cloth AND they must then be left to thoroughly air dry. If you are in any doubt contact customer services using the contact form, since it is your responsibility to clean them correctly to avoid any damage.


If I have silver plated straps how should I store my straps?


All plated straps are supplied in a plastic bag to protect the metal from our environment. We recommend that when the straps are not worn they are stored in this plastic bag and then put in the presentation pouch that all straps come in.
